I didn’t realize that my subscription is up for renewal and will expire tomorrow.
I paid my subscription by Paypal echeck today, but didn’t realize it will take 6-8 days to go thru.
Does this mean I am going to lose my Chartered Member status??
I have the receipt from my payment.
Help?!?

Off-topic, why is it that this is a deadline for so many people?
My user CP says I’m good through June 24, 2012, for instance. Did I pay for a longer term upfront?
I also got my notification, and had a slight panic because for some reason the ISP through my cell phone carrier was blocked and I’m away from home right now (fortunately the hotel’s business center’s ISP isn’t blocked, so I renewed before i expired - whew!). It does, however look like my custom title expired and I didn’t realize it, so I renewed that for 2 years as well.
2 questions - first, can the expiration notice be sent out a little earlier than 2 days beforehand? I was a little tense thinking I might have missed it if I couldn’t log on while I was out of town; and second, I changed my custom title in my profile, but I don’t see it on my past posts - is there a delay, or are my past posts going to forever be devoid of my custom title? I wasn’t sure how that worked.

Edited to add: Never mind, I clicked the “reset” tickbox and it looks like I shouldn’t have - the custom title is now showing everywhere.

It just showed up in the Paid Subs window.
Anyone who finds their payment is pending and their Charter Member privileges expire in the meantime please let me know as soon as possible. I’m not always going to be in front of the computer over the next couple of days but I’ll do my best for you.
Looks like you did pay up extra when you had the chance – a lot of people did that last year.
The original Charter Member offer was made over a certain time span – IIRC it started in late March – and it had a definite cut off date. People signed up for the offer through that initial offering period so the original expiration dates were in that narrow window.
Over time and one thing and the other, some people losing the right and then coming back in when reinstatement was offered last year, the dates are a little more diffuse … but still for most Charter Members the subscription deadline date is somewhere around May 20. Just how the calendar fell.
I know the emails that come out for reminder are very close to the expiration date of the membership. Is there any way to back them up a week?
Just sent my paypal payment now, but it no longer shows the charter rate. If I can get rolled back, just apply it to the future.
(And a month notice with a 1-week reminder would be better–I think people expect a week. I know I did, and one weekend on travel and I’ve missed the deadline.)

my expiry date was the 22nd, yet I reupped today and all is well, guess I got a 1 day grace period because of Sunday.
