I’d like you all to know I had insomnia last night and was up around 3am. I was in the living room so as not to disturb my husband. I went to the window to open it for some air and saw 2 guys walking down my very quiet residential street. I immediately thought of this thread when I saw them.
So far I can tell, they were just going somewhere. No actual deviant behavior observed.
If I’d seen them get into a car with a tinted license plate cover, however, I’d have called 911

I’m not the only woman who experience this and is annoyed by it.
Probably because they like chicks in white T shirts and blue jeans.
The Eternals show up and attack them.
I don’t see why this is really a great mystery. A girl gets dressed up and goes out, at a bar, at a club, at a party, she’s likely around a lot of others roughly her own age who are all also dressed up. If she’s particularly hot, she’s out of a guy’s league, if she’s anything less, she’s just another face in the crowd.
When a girl isn’t trying to look her best, as the article says, she’ll come across as more approachable. On top of that, even a girl who is dressed down at the grocery store isn’t among her peers, so even if she is just another face in the crowd at a bar, when comparing a 20-something to the soccer moms and all that, she’ll stand out more. Even moreso, I think part of it is that when someone is trying to look her best, it often just doesn’t come off as well as her simply being herself, even if she generally doesn’t look as good, there’s no stress around it, which is attractive.
I wore shiny white shoes with jeans yesterday and drew a crowd of uneasy onlookers.
Oh wait. Maybe that was because I was parallel-parking a station wagon and needed 2 minutes to get it in the spot.

If you consider anyone who behaves differently than you as deviant, then I’d like to be as deviant as possible.

If that was directed at me, I was stating that I wish to be as far opposite of Diamonds02’s behavior as possible. She seems to characterize anyone who isn’t the same as her as abnormal, but she thinks pranking total strangers is the height of hilarity.
