Argh! Sue Dunhym lives in San Jose? I was just there. :frowning: My first opportunity to buy a Doper a beer, AND it’s the Doper with the coolest screen name, and I blew it.

(I could buy a Toronto doper a beer, I guess, but that’s just too easy.)

I plan to have my favorite Sue Dunhym moment next month, oh say, around the weekend of the 20th. If she wears those boots, that is.

But those eyes, that wit, that humor and openness. Wow. Got a sister???

I’ve not had much interaction with the lovely Ms. Sue, but I’ve always read her posts with interest and amusement.

i am late to this but…

I like Sue cause at the first dopefest i met her at she:

  • bought me drinks
  • Hung out with me and Omni while everyone else went bye bye
  • took me back home with her when i was drunk (first time too!)
  • Made me a sammich
  • Introduced me to her hubby without fear :slight_smile:
  • Gave me my own room to sleep in that night
  • Wouldnt let me sleep in my clothes. She found some of her husbands clothes i could wear

Also:

She’s a peachy keen hostess, she knows how to party, and even let us BADs go to her birthday party! Oh and she made us go in the jacuzzi at the superbowl bash.

Congrats, Sue!

I too always open a thread if I see Sue’s name. She has an openess and good humor that draws me in. And like Manservant, I will always associate Sue with the words “duck lips.” In a completely positive way of course. Way positive…way, way…whoa, got lost in a moment there.
