It is notable for me that (along with Doobieous) Sue Duhnym was the first Doper I met in real life.
And having been to her house a number of times, I would like to here-by nominate her as hostess of the century.

Francesca Thanks, I’m looking forward to meeting you to. The offer is still open to stay here if you make it up this way. San Jose is about an hour train ride out of San Francisco, but I’ll even let you do laundry! Oh and we also have The Winchester Mystery House here, FWIW.
As for you rundogrun, my husband bought one of those bungee things and it’s not only frigging uncomfortable, but because it’s only attached by one bolt, I end up swinging all over the place! Plus, I need a chair to get into it.
Of the few times we’ve tried it, I’ve always ended up crashing into closets, butt prints on the wall mirror, spinning wildly, and laughing hysterically. Not exactly condusive to passionate, wild sex.

I too have had the pleasure of meeting Sue, and the bundle of cuteness that is Syno Nym. She rocks. She really, really does.

When I was still an ultra-newbie, I was exploring the areas besides GQ for the first time and I came across a thread started by Sue entitled “So I was sucking my husband’s dick…” The hilarity and frankness of that post made me an instant fan.
Now the first thing I do when I get to SDMB is search for threads Sue has contributed to and read up.
It helps that her eyes could melt a mountain (at least in the pic I saw).

Y’all know that I am not one for post parties or appreciation threads. Sue, however, is one of the good ones that will get me out from under my rock.
Sue, you’re a great host and terrific member of this community. 2000 is a meaningless number, but as others have said, just seeing your name as the most recent poster in a thread is enough to get me to read it.
