I recently picked up Start Static by Sugarcult and I can’t shake the feeling that I have heard the lead singer in another band. Am I just imagining things or was the lead singer in another band?
Its a pretty good album by the way.
There wasn’t anything in the Wikipedia entry on the band about the singer having been in another band, for whatever that’s worth.
AMG has nothing either.
I searched for Tim Pagnotta - the singer - and read some interviews and histories of the band and didn’t find anything either.
I think that Sugarcult is one of those many pop punk bands that have came out in the last four years and they all sound the same, IMO. But I’m biased because I don’t like any of those bands. A lot of my friends do and I can’t always distinguish them.
Sigh I think this might be whats happening here but I am so sure that I have heard them before but I can’t put my finger on it. This is going to bug me for a while I think.
