Since I’ve got the CD burner, I’d like to put it use for other than making audiocd’s. Can anyone suggest a backup utility for making backup copies of CDROM’s?
Most of the major CD burning software programs (EZ CD Creator, Nero, etc) have a “Copy CD” function.
If you’re looking for something used exclusively to copy CDs (i.e., no mastering capabilites), I’d also suggest Elaborate Bytes’ CloneCD. A demo is available here .
I have backed up with a direct copy (using e-z cd creator) for data directories. and have backed up my entire harddrive using norton ghost - for complete hard drive recovery Ghost is hard to beat but not the best to restore selected files
