One of my favorites right now is theDaily Howler. Created by Bob Somerby, it takes the press corp to task for egregious, mostly political, coverage, pointing out the utter fecklessness that said corp exhibits on a regular basis. I always try to remember to read any political story with a large grain of salt, but on the times I forget, I can always count on Somerby to remind me again to do so.
As usual, I never quite say what I want when I create a new thread.
I’m not suggesting that Somerby is always 100 percent correct in his judgements of the press corp, or that he never goes over the top in his indignation, merely that he often points out the hypocrisy, and the downright laziness of our press corp to actually do the research to get their storys right.
