Suggest a new homepage for me

I have had a my yahoo homepage for years. I suits my needs and I’m used to it.
I like having the news, weather, calendar, daily comics, overveiw of my emails and bookmarks all on the one page. Only now I have to go to another yahoo site to access my bookmarks or download yahoo toobar.

Bugger that I’m voting with my feet.

So do any of you bright sparks have some suggestions for a new homepage. It would need to meet the critera mentioned above.

What is the google homepage like (I do have a gmail account - can you automatically forward yahoo email messages to gmail?) Any Aussies with a bigpond home page?

This dosen’t meet your criteria. I’ll admit that right away. But as an interim suggestion, it’ll do the trick until you find something new. Ready?

It’s sounding like google for you. If you have a gmail account it’s a small step to setting up your iGoogle homepage. Should be no problems integrating your Yahoo mail into gmail.

I actually have a newspaper as my home page - I really dislike the layout of my iGoogle but ymmv!

I’ll also go on record and recommend Google. Specifically, you want an iGoogle page. iGoogle allows you to customize your own homepage with whatever you want… and Google has thousands of add-ins.

I have 3 tabs set up on my iGoogle page. One is a news/weather overview. The 2nd is an information lookup that has gagets for Google maps, whitepages.com, and babelfish, and the 3rd has a gadget for showing all my bookmarks.
