How’s this for a theme? Don and Dan Stanton as Tweedledum & Tweedledee with Malcom McDowell as The Mad Hatter. Special cameo appearance by Ned Wynne as the other Mad Hatter.
I think they should go gritty, forget the joke-y villains discussed in the other thread. How scared is anybody of the Riddler or the Penguin?
Killer Croc, Black Spider and Kobra are three who should be considered. Maybe the Wrath. And as much as I like Angelina-as-Catwoman in concept, there are other bad girls in the Bat canon, like Talia and Nocturne.
It’s too bad that Luthor is taken; he’s a better foil for Batman than Superman.

Hush seems like the best idea to me. Fit’s Nolan’s style perfectly.
I think for new villains they should just say, to hell with it, and bring in characters from completely different media. Not just different comic books but whole different universes.

Batman vs. Windom Earle from Twin Peaks.
