Title pretty much says it all. I’m looking for some comfortable full sized flannel sheets that I can buy online and that are warm enough for a Chicago winter.
Your answer is “heated mattress pad.” drool
I just bought these off of Overstock.com and I love them. Overstock.com: Online Shopping - Bedding, Furniture, Electronics, Jewelry, Clothing & more
My last flannel sheets were from The Company Store and I adored those too but couldn’t bring myself to pay TCS prices.
These aren’t flannel, but most of the reviews are raving about how cuddly and warm they are: Microfiber Luxury Sheets. They’re on my wish list!
I posted the same question a couple months ago and didn’t get much feedback. I wound up buying a set of L.L.Bean Chamois Flannel Sheets and they are fantastic. Not inexpensive, but I have no regret over spending the money. They’re the best flannel sheets I’ve ever owned.
Speaking of LL Bean, I finally bought a king fitted sheet from them, and while I’m very happy with the fit of the sheet, I got the ultrasoft flannel because it was the least expensive and if you’re looking for warm I would suggest not being frugal. The ultrasoft is nice, but lightweight and pills a bit. They do have an excellent return policy, so if I cared I could return and pay a little more for the midpriced, but… lazy.
These microfleece sheets look nice, though I’ve never tried them. I’ve bought several blankets from that company and they are very soft and warm.
This is my second year with fleece sheets from JC Penney. My sister complains they are too warm, but husband, kitty cat and I love them.
+1 for fleece sheets, very warm and much smoother.
Yep, skip flannel and go for polar fleece. Very warm (boyfriend says sometimes too warm) and not as clingy as flannel. I think both of my fleece sets came from Kohl’s.
I’ve been very happy with the quality of sheets from Lands End. Different fabric weights depending on how warm you’re looking for but they feel and wear great and if you’re not happy they’ll take them back. 5oz flannel.
