Bob Dylan’s Positively 4th Street was already recommended by NDP, and I agree it sure as hell comes off as being written about an ex-lover as opposed to the conventional wisdom of it being about music critics. I can’t believe Joe_Cool suggested Reagan Youth; I thought I was the only person in the US to ever listen to them. I’ll also second the Luna & Teeeny Weeny Peeny Weeny recommendations.

It equates a relationship to Hitler and Stalin’s crumbled alliance. If you’re unfamiliar with Foetus, go for a live version of the song; it’s a bit more, how shall we say, normal.

Just the song I was going to reccomend. Pretty damn good song, even if you’rein a good mood (I’ve gone right from Happy Boys and Girls by Aqua to this one occasionally. ^__^;;), but when you really want to beat someone to a bloody pulp that their next of kin won’t be able to identify, the song is great.
