Suggestions for names for my truck

I’ve recently bought a new truck, and it needs a name.

It’s a 2012 Chevy Tahoe. Admittedly, it’s a little more than I need to get around town; but I also need to get to large cities nearby (Calgary and Edmonton), and to Toronto, which I drive to once or twice a year. A bigger vehicle is called for, especially with our winters.

My previous vehicles have been named after cartoon characters. My 1986 Honda CRX was “Opus,” after the Bloom County strip; my 1990 Jeep was “Hobbes,” after Calvin and Hobbes. My 2000 Chevy Blazer was “Big Cal,” since he was a bigger form of Calvin, from Calvin and Hobbes.

Given all that, Dopers, what do you suggest I name my 2012 Chevy Tahoe?

Kup.

Doctor Tongue.

My trucks are always named Tom.
Although this is the first one without a stick.
Maybe it should be Tammy?
Nah, can’t see me driving a girl truck, so Tom it is.

How about Poncho? (Pooch Cafe).

Big Bertha…

Moose. I think a big truck being driven in Canada should be called “Moose.”

Or Dudley Do-Right.

They have trucks in Canada? Live and learn.

Bruno.

Conan the Grammarian?

Spiff

??? I can’t tell if you’re making a joke or not - we have nothing but trucks in Canada.

How about Bucky Katt from Get Fuzzy?

Just a gratuitous dig at our little brother to the north. Wouldn’t Satchel make more sense? He is Canadian.

Hmm, you’ve got a point there. If you wear a toque, that’ll probably cover it.

Mooch from Mutts?

Wait – it’s supposed to be Toronto claiming to speak for the whole of Canada, not Alberta!

What colour is the truck?! Can’t have a name without a colour, dangit!

If it’s orange, I vote for Garfield.

HAWK

Alberta’s got all the money now, so we call the shots.

Congrats on the new vehicle, Spoons! I second Bucky (since I suggested it to Cat Whisperer and all. :D)
