Sorry for my late response to this thread - there were a couple of posts, then I didn’t see any more and thought it had sunk like a stone!

40 Dogs (like Romeo and Juliet) - Bob Schneider
Feel the Sunshine - Joe Brooks
Summertime - Brianna Taylor
Glow - Donavon Frankenreiter
Brighter Than the Sun - Colbie Caillat
Summertime - The Click 5
Sun - Airplanes
Firefly - Sister Hazel
Summer Girl - Jessica Andrews
The Sound of Sunshine - Michael Franti
Golden - Jill Scott
Wet Hot American Summer - Cobra Starship

Live it Up - Group 1 Crew
Island in the Sun - Weezer
Firework - Katy Perry
Friday - Glee Cast
Happily Ever After - He is We
How about Troy Olsen’s “Summer Thing”? Very lightweight pop-country, but thematically perfect, and an easy little groove that few will object to in a mix. And since he checks Bob Marley, put “Sun is Shining” in there too.
