“This must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays”
“What’s so unpleasant about being drunk? You ask a glass of water.”
“Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.”
“If there’s anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot now.”

You mean, “Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”
You. To the video store for a copy of Cool Hand Luke. NOW!!*
And Caesar’s spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch’s voice
Cry ‘Havoc,’ and let slip the dogs of war;

*Maybe I been whooshed?
“I Have Almonds and You Don’t”
Well, if it had been “wreak” havoc, I would have spelled it right!
Seriously, in my poor brain, the bad phrase (wreck havoc) caught my attention and I corrected the spelling without ever stopping to think if the quote was right. :smack:
I burning your dogs of war!
Maybe I’m being whooshed, but the Jackie Gleason quote is from “Smoky and the Bandit”…right?
Here’s the link to the photos of the past two posters on flickr, along with a shot of what I’ve drawn so far on the new poster (and a few shots of the interior of the office just for because they were on the camera and I uploaded everything without paying too much attention)

Very fun. I’ll keep watching.
Do or do not; there is no try.
That’s no moon, it’s a space station!
Nuke it from orbit; it’s the only way to be sure.
Very neat!
Let me guess, you’re an accountant, right? Or possibly an actuary…
Nope. My job title is “report analyst”, which basically means I write a lot of SQL code, Excel formulas, and that sort of thing. I manipulate data all day long. What made you think I was an accountant though?
I like: ceci n’est pas une pipe
A few from Bugs Bunny:
"He don’t know me too good, do he?
“Be vewy, vewy quiet, I’m hunting Wabbits!”
“I musta missed that left turn at Albequerque!” (Or however you spell it?)
“Of course you realize this means war!”
“Gee, ain’t I a stinker?”
“I bet you monsters lead interesting lives!”
“I’ll be scared later. Right now I’m too mad.”
And one I bet you didn’t know was his: "Well, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere. "
Sorry, that was a lame joke on your office decor. If there was ever an office that was 180 degrees away from that of the stereotypical accountant, you’re sitting in it.
The “punch your momma in the mouth” line is from Smokey and the Bandit, yes, but the “failure to communicate” line - while also in SATB - originally comes from the Paul Newman classic Cool Hand Luke.

Now, while Jackie Gleason certainly has a well-deserved place in the pantheon of film and TV entertainment, it’s just not cricket to assign him all the glory of one of the classic lines of cinema.
batsto - if I had things like that in the offices where I worked I would have enjoyed going to work a lot more! Well done!
I’ll take a shot at what the new one is:But are you still master of your domain?
