Suggestions on what acoustic songs to download needed!

I prefer downloading acoustic versisons of songs, as it gives me a better representation of the artists vocal talent. Well, that and I can also take some of that “harder” music which I don’t like normally. So you get the idea, I guess. I want some suggestions for some acoustic versions of songs to download, from all the way back in the early 90’s to right now currently. Thanks guys, now lets see what you can come up with!

I was going to help you out until you made the crack about “all the way back in the early 90’s”.

May I ask what your problem is? I am trying to make some custom acoustic CD’s of music only from the early 90’s untill now, sorry if you are so weak that that somehow irritated you, not.

Clip the hair across your ass, kid, I was joking.

Get it? The early 90’s wasn’t that far back for some of us – enough to be “all the way back”. See?

So lighten up, Wayne’s World.

So would you be the residential flame-baiting troll, or residential ass hole? I can’t really tell with your current ramblings.

Tell you what, Clueless, if you really have a problem with me for some reason, Pit me.

Otherwise learn to recognize humor. It’ll make life much easier for you.

Slow down big guy, I’m not the one baiting here. Anyhow…

…back to the topic!

What’s that song by Linkin Park, one of their first singles, ‘One Step Closer to the edge’ or something like that. Check out the version chick-rocker Deena Norian did of that song a year or two back. It’s nice. As for acoustic versions that artists play of their own songs… That kinda depends on who you like. For the most part I’m not too fond of this practice, as a lot of radio stations tend to seize on an acoustic version of a song that they got a hold of and play that exclusively, and it gets irritating when you just wanna hear the original radio edit of the song. A couple Foo Fighters songs come to mind here.
But anyway, BrentLumkin, you might want to give some thought to not taking everything people say so personally. When you misinterpret a remark someone makes in good fun, overreact horribly, then insist that they were ‘baiting’ you even after they explain the joke and why it was funny and why it has nothing to do with you personally, you just come off looking a bit the jackass. Food for thought. And welcome to the board.

Thank you for your suggestion, but can we get past what happened earlier? He made, what I deemed to be, a rude remark, and I reacted as such.

Try early Guster. They didn’t used to use electric guitars in their preformances, but did when touring for “Lost and Gone Forever”
" Gold Fly" and “Parachute” are more what you’d look for there.
FYI Guster fans, their 4th cd is supposed to be out this fall according to their offical site.

Guster rocks. They’re even better live. I saw them one time and they played “California Girls” as an encore. It was awesome. As far as a new album, I’ll believe it when I see it.

I’m sorry, Brent - I like accoustic music as much as the next guy, and if you were merely asking for suggestions on music to purchase, all would have been fine.

Since your intention is to download the suggested music, this thread is closed.
