Sulfur and silver bullets

The report about tarnishing silver was great (of course) but what was Nathan’s (the questioner) remark about a “geek” making silver bullets? What’s so geeky about silver bullets? In looking for one thread I remembered, I actually found two; Triskadecamus had one in 2004 and there was an earlier one discussing them in 2000. It does not appear that he ever got any of the bullets made.

Actually, after reading a different thread by Trisk about things he owns, yeah he’s pretty geeky. So am I as I would like to own a bunch of those things as well and do have a Klein Bottle on my wish list.

Grand Theft Auto? That’s like so 7 years ago! Cecil’s such an old fogey.

Two geeky things about Silver Bullets spring instantly to mind.

  1. You can use them to kill Werewolves, and It

  2. the Lone Ranger left one with every person he helped. And they didn’t even get a chance to thank him.

  1. As a beer, it is really overrated.
  1. As a band, it rocked.

And, as something to do for the hell of it, nothing whatsoever, except he didn’t follow the rules of following lead-alloy bullets or his grooves would’ve been shallower. The PopSci guy appears to have been a dilletante.
