Interesting riff on the movie Alegro Non Troppo. Didn’t know Coca Cola knew about that film and the Bolero episode.
Hyena. I tribute to Rudolph Valentino.
In the film Alegro Non Troppo, which was a modern (1978) take off on Fantasia, there is an episode done to Bolero where cola in the bottom of a bottle of cola thrown from a spaceship onto a planet manages to get out of the bottle and eventually evolve into ever more advanced life forms marching across the face of the planet, until at the end, there is a surprise ending.
VW: any company that has a kid punching a man in the nuts has lost any potential for my business. Are you targeting the America’s Funniest Videos crowd?
Awwww Google love story:)
But, ummm, does Google even need to advertise?
Women in hot tubs are a real theme this year. That’s the third commercial I’ve seen with that going on somewhere during the commercial.
Shows how much I know…
Nice, Google - very nice. Maybe my favorite of the night so far. Is that their first commercial?
First Super Bowl spot, I think, although it’s aired outside of the Super Bowl. They have a couple in that style. One is about Batman.
I thought the KGB ad was good, but come on guys. KGB?
Ah, how cool - thanks! I think this is it on YouTube.
KGB? What did I miss?
We are down to the ads that aren’t so good now. Pretty soon, I expect repeats. Dud year.
The Air Force one has been on three times already.
What Air Force one? Haven’t seen it. Are you sure it isn’t a “local” ad?
@ Rodgers01: Yes, that’s the episode.
A bunch of sports – snowboarding, sail-surfing, etc. – with a ‘Catch some air’ theme. Air Force, or Air Force Reserve.
Emerald Nuts: stupid.
But then, they’ve been known for stupid for some time.
Not showing here, in Charlotte. Must be local purchase.
