Anyone heading to Detroit for the Super Bowl festivities? I’ll be heading there on Friday. I have no stake in the game itself, but it’s my brithday weekend, and my hometown, and I just figured I’d scope out the freakshow.
Luckily my friends are only charging me $500/night for use of their spare bedroom.

If you’re looking for something fun to do and are at all into blues, check out this band. They play locally around the UP, and have been invited to play at several Superbowl venues.
I know a couple of the people in the band, and they’re incredibly excited - it’s a pretty big deal for a small-town (but very talented) band to be picked to play in such a huge venue. All you Superbowl-bound dopers should check them out.
