Super Bowl XLVII: Seahawks vs. Broncos

That’s it for Richard Sherman.

seattle players are starting to hit each other.

Everyone who covers Demaryius Thomas is getting injured. Does he have spikes on under his uniform?

Oh, er, it’s a real barnburner, then, honest.

Well, the good news is Manning will be back next season. I can’t see him retiring after this ass whupping. This isn’t how he wants to end it.

Barn fully engulfed - many Broncos trapped inside.

T-Mobile just took my favorite childhood movie song and pooped on it.

Oh I know. But it gives ammo to the people who have a lot of ego invested in simplistic cliches about football. Lots of stupid will be spouted due to this.

Seattle strapped a saddle on the Bronco and rode off singing Happy Trails.

I salute you.

Yeah, If Kentucky played the Lord’s Sister’s of The Blind.

What a dissappointing outcome.

Denver overcame a lot this season. Not many teams could lose a coach for a month and still earn a Superbowl shot.

They’ll come back even stronger next season.

they are prepping the trophy.

True that. But had the Broncos won, you would have heard “you need an elite QB to win it all” just as much as you will now hear “defense wins championships”. It’s a no win situation, one way or another an entire season will be boiled down to a simplistic canard with little to no regard for the subtleties of the game.

If you must draw one conclusion from this game, I would make it “don’t turn the ball over”.

How important do you think the first play was? – Instead of the beginning of a typical Broncos drive eating clock and getting points there was a brain fart with 2+3 points in the ass, and then they never really recovered; seemed stunned and adding mistakes upon mistakes. Would the game turn out significantly different if they got going in the first drive, or is the Seahawks this much better, the first play didn’t really matter that much?

Fumble!!

and the current play just proofed your statement.

Denver didn’t lay an egg in this game.

No, this was a full blown turd.

Peyton is gonna catch the brunt of it but there is plenty to go around. I blame Denver for making it the boring game that it was.

the kitten and puppy bowls were a bit more exciting. now on to sherlock.
