It does. Ramathorn cites the kids for littering but keeps adding the semi-menacing “and…?” The kids, feeling nervous from the pot they threw out the window (and the kid in the back starting to trip on the pot and mushrooms he hastily swallowed) makes the whole scene as tense as a East Berlin checkpoint crossing where the guards imply you’ve done something wrong in expectation your own fear will trip you up.
Hilarity, natch, ensues.
I guess it was a funny movie, but I sure didn’t think so the first time I saw it, back in college. See, a few of us had taken some mushrooms, and just as we’re starting to feel it, someone (not tripping with us) decided to put on Super Troopers. Great – a movie about asshole cops fucking with people. Just what you want to watch during a psychadelic experience. :rolleyes:
Poor Andy – he thought there were actually cops at the door and hid under the bed for an hour.
Lobsang, the doofus, forgot to mention, or even remember that by ‘caught’ he meant ‘caught not at the beginning’, and he also failed to realise that any references to a joke made in a thread about a film might, just might, be from that film.
