Last year I don’t remember if we eventually got a commercials-only thread, but we ended up having 2 seperate groups using the same room superbowl thread for both the game and the commercials which made it feel a bit like it was being used at cross-purposes. So I’ve decided to create a thread for the discussion of the Superbowl commercials.
I refuse to put it in roman numerals because that practice feels somewhat pretentious.
Feel free to post about any sort of controversies or rejected commercials or anything like that.
This medical marijuana commercial was rejected for the superbowl, as it’s such a conservative anti-drug organization that only 57 alcohol commercials will be allowed instead.
I’m sorry but I can’t get emotional about Kias built in Georgia. Good thing your town has a good factory, guys, but you’re no Detroit (be glad you’re not, but outsiders won’t get excited about it).

The beer commercial with the lady talking into 2 mics… WTH? Not sure why but creeped me out. They could have done better if she just held it for 30 seconds without saying anything.
