I don’t think anyone is impressed, but I think they’re all of sudden not enjoying the “McDonald’s” their momma made them with the pink finger prints. If you feel insecure it’s not my fault. Why do people care what I think? Seriously.
What the fuck is this thread about?
No, it’s me defending my opinion because people feel I don’t have a right to have one.
You’re doing nothing but lording. What’s really sad is that you’re crowing about mediocre grades at a state school you won’t even name which have gotten you a temporary job as a substitute teacher. That’s pretty fucking sad.
If you aren’t lording your ‘accomplishments’ over anyone, then explain all this:
Why don’t you go and find your ninche somewhere else?
What? Seriously, try making sense for a change. Are you this incomprehensible when you are subbing? Do the kids cry a lot when they see you coming?
And you know this from your personal experience at community college?
You know, if you had started by saying “this is my opinion and maybe it is strange, but I think less of community college” we would have called you an elitist and it would have been all over by now.
Instead you keep defending your opinion as being THE ONE TRUE BELIEF and insulting everyone else. You come across as more stupid all the time. You refuse, as most educated people do these days, to accept there are more than one way to think, one way to function, you do not see that there are many paths. Funny, education is supposed to be broadening, but your outlook is just so narrow.
It is like you went to university and completely missed the point.
Ah, of course. All your grade school-level spelling and grammar errors are done on purpose. You’re not making much of a case for 4-year colleges, I have to say.
I’m not bragging. I’m telling people for any excuse you make, I can come up with answer. Community college is never the only choice. Unless, real colleges won’t have you.
I’m sorry I don’t want people knowing what state I live in. I’m entitle to some privacy. Unless SD doesn’t think I’m entitled to anything.
I will LORD it over everyone when I get hired, because frankly I’m getting tired of everyone feeling so smug that I don’t have a perm job in recession.
Actually, depending on the school and how often I’ve subbed there, I’ve had students wave at me and say “Hello Miss Trubie”. Many times they make me drawings and cards, because they like me.
No, but I had to take a course on how to deal with special needs students. I assume community college students have a lot in commom with special needs students.
Why do people care what I think? Stop wasting your time trying to change me. I see lot of stuff I disagree with, but I don’t care. Fuck it. If you want to marry a bill goat and think people should only have citizenship to your make believe country, I’m not going to argue. That’s pretty stupid, but I don’t care.
And you want us to believe you passed an AP English exam?
Give it a rest.
No one is lording it over you that you don’t have a permanent job in a recession. We are rather not impressed at the quality of education of which you are so proud. I for one wonder why a plumber, secretary, lab technician, paramedic, pilot, graphic designer, real estate agent, or fireman to name but a few careeers need a 4 year degree and I wonder how you as a substitute teacher without a full time job could afford the hike in wages that would occur if they all did. I couldn’t afford it, and I make an (on paper) comfortable living.
Believe me or don’t. I got the credit already.
I’m definitely putting this on the list of taboo subjects of the dope.
- Cats, indoor vs. outdoor.
- Taking off shoes when you come in the house.
- Community colleges.
God. Troll kibble is expensive. Im talking a break.
Bye.
I once drew a picture of a horsey that got two gold stars.
I don’t think anyone here thinks community colleges are controversial. I think Trubie is being a douche who won’t admit that she might be wrong. Phds and people without degrees all agree. As do people (me for example, and crotalus, and others I am forgetting) who have both kinds of education, and see the merits of both. Or neither.
