Superior tactics and beliefs that will help promulgate anti-western values.

It’s high time we use our superior intellect and unbiased world view to bring an end to the fear and blind-hatred of these misunderstood martyrs; a valiant group that our ideological enemies still refer to as fundamentalists, extremists, evil and terrorists. I’m listing some of our tenets as well as some suggested quotes you may wish to employ upon coming across one of those ignorant, unwashed, red-necked elements of the hoi polloi.

Here are a few basic strategies you should be using to counter all those pro-western idealogues out there. If you have any problems mastering these four easy lines of attack, then I implore you to head back to the university and retake a western studies 101 course immediately.[ol]
[li]The first rule is to confuse them with our moral equivalency arguments. Don’t be afraid to say things like [/li]
”If you believe that Arafat should be summarily arrested or exiled for being “implicated in terrorism”, then I guess that means it would also be justified to arrest and exile Ariel Sharon, George W. Bush, and every other living American president for that matter”
as so creatively pointed out by our comrade, Mr. Bix.
[li]Guard yourself against their misconceptions of our superior statements. When they perceive assertions created, bought and sold by our ideological allies in our beloved France, don’t be afraid to attribute those quotes to them. Smile and convince it’s the extremists in their ranks who assert [/li]
as used brilliantly and wittedly by our sister, December.
[li]They take life and death far too seriously. For example: If you come across a rant about the number of people killed in terror attacks in which accurate cites are provided, nail them from both sides. First, tell them they’re using facts [/li]
then skew the numbers to make your point. Pooh-Pooh their chicken-little concerns and tell them to stop crying for

A one-two punch, sharply executed by our very own Collounsbury and Princhester.
[li]If calling them fucks, assholes, haters or ignoramuses with their heads up their ass doesn’t work, circle the (solar-powered) wagons and pull out the heavy artillery: The bigot label. If they have a problem with something uttered by one of our fundamentalist brethren in Mecca, try to convince anyone who will listen their concerns are racist. Decrying their [/li]
is one of many effective labels.[/ol]
So I urge you, join the real battle. Stand up! Put down the book your reading, push away from your desktop monitor or run from the coffee house you’re relaxing in immediately. Run out to the street and sigh “I’m not the least bit mad and accept things as they are.” You heard me, get up now, go to your window and open it.
Let them know how misguided, ignorant and fearful they are. If enough of us are heard, perhaps we’ll be one step closer to attaining our utopian goal of peace and understanding where rights and wrongs no longer exist.

  1. Without being a fan in any way of Mr. Arafat, I would say that anyone supporting his incarceration summarily should be prepared to agree to the similar incarceration of, at least, any U.S. president beginning with Reagan. Reagan’s support for the illegal wars carried out against Central American countries, Ford’s illegal invasion of (and resulting massacres in) Panama, and Clinton’s apparently well-intentioned but rather cavalier use of cruise missiles on a couple of occasions certainly invite some sort of response if Mr. Arafat is to be judged without a trial.

  2. duh! december is on your side. You really should take a course in recognizing irony when it is presented in its most obvious forms.

  3. Since you have not demonstrated that you actually have factual evidence, your argument with Collounsbury (who is noted to be fairly unprejudiced in the matter, as well as being very well versed on the subject, however grumpy he may display himself in his posts) is most likely a sign that you don’t like your biased sources revealed.
Regarding Princhester: you still need your irony gauge checked.

  4. You have demonstrated in several threads that you are unaware of the wide variety of social, political, and religious forces in so-called Muslim countries or societies. When you attempt to lump them all under one single catch-phrase, it demonstrates ignorance-based bigotry. I’m sorry that you have been hoist on your bias-filled petard, but there it is.

We’re here fighting ignorance.

You’re hear spreading ignorance-based hatred and fear.

It is quite likely that our missions in life will be in conflict. Too bad.

Awww, he’s so cute.

December’s not my brother? He’s my sister?
