Yeah that sounds about right. I think they were O’s for donuts and 8’s meant to be shaped like krullers.
PB Maxx - it’s gotten mentioned a few times in this thread and I know I remember it, I just can’t think of what it was. I even tried googling but the results didn’t help.
I don’t know how… um… authentic this is, but for those people missing 1-2-3 Jello:
I miss Good ‘n’ Fruity, the fruit-flavored cousin of Good ‘n’ Plenty.
Yep, here’s another recipe to try, although it’s without any added ingredients just specific instructions for how to prepare regular jello.
I adored Cracklin’ Oat Bran, man that stuff was good.

Cookies with rice crispie style topping, peanut butter, smothered in chocolate.
What’s this crazy talk of Cracklin’ Oat Bran being gone?! I almost never buy cereal, but that’s one of the two kinds I like.
Mmmmm, Moon Pies! My arch-nemesis, the Evil Physics Building Vending Machine at the University of Maryland, sometimes had those…
C.W. Post - First healthy food I ever ate. Awesome flavor.
Johnny Ribs - Haven’t had one since the 80s, but I can still taste it!
Bacon Flavored Cheez Whiz - What more can I say?
Pasta Anytime spaghetti
And I was going to add, “miniature pie crusts”, that you scoop pudding cups into to make instant pudding pie, but I finally found some last week at Meijer.

Unless this has gone away in the past year, I’m certain it still exists.
I’ll second the Carnation Breakfast Bars, a staple of my youth.
I’ll add: Baked Ramen . Seriously, have you ever read the nutritional information on the back of a pack of ramen? Seven or eight grams of fat per serving, and two servings per noodlebrick. That means if you eat a whole package, you’re getting 14-16g of fat! Gah! Baked ramen tasted just fine, and the noodles were baked rather than deep-fried, so they had maybe 2g per brick. Much more peace of mind eating that, lemme tell ya.
But, they don’t make 'em no more.
I always wondered why they were so bad for you! (but so cheap!)
Mine is Nutella. Apparently, the Wal*Mart here doesn’t carry it anymore, and I want some, but don’t want to go anywhere special to get it.
The Big Stick (frozen flavored ice pop)
Sugar Daddies (caramal candy pops that lasted forever and pulled out fillings)
Blow Pops (candy with gum in the middle. It would sometimes cut the inside of my mouth but was so yummy I didn’t care.)
Pardon me while I try to recover from the shock, and join the pudding pops chorus: they’re GONE ?!?!? Shit.
More recently: Frosted Cheerios. The sugar crash 10 minutes later was totally worth it.
Update from Copenhagen: I think that rumbling I just heard was old King Christian turning over in his grave.
Hyperelastic:
However, chocolate fudge Pop Tarts are, as far as I can tell, gone. They’ve been gone from the shelves around here for months. I used to eat the damn things for breakfast every single day.
I’ve bought them recently here in Mass. Not sure if it was the reduced fat variety or the regular.
I could probably mail you some if you really need them.
I miss the liquor counter. Liquor departments used to have their own cashiers, and you could take any price-stamped item there and pay for it, instead of going through the regular checkout lines. It was usually much quicker when you were just buying a couple of items.

Chaoticdonkey did you look for Nutella in the peanut butter section? In my Wal-Mart, it used to be in the International food section, but when they remodeled the store, they put it there. I always thought it should have been there all along.
I miss the old BBQ Fritos.
Only North of the Border. sigh
Thanks for the links to Quisp. I’m going to have to look in different stores.
Carnation Breakfast Squares (which might be the same thing as Carnation Breakfast Bars)
Marathon Bars (I know you can get them in Britain, where they’re called "Curly Wurlies) but I miss being able to get them at the store.
Old-fashioned Cocoa Puffs (before they changed the recipe to make them more “chocolaty.”)
Crispy Critters and Morton’s frozen mini sugar and spice donuts.
Bake those mini donuts good and crispy and there was nothing ever better with your coffee in the morning.
