After a mere 3 hours in the woods, Michelle Murray was permitted to go back to jail. Words fail to describe the anger I feel for someone who would hurt baby animals, such trusting and loving creatures as they are.
I don’t have a huge amount of sympathy for Ms. Murray, because I think she made a really bad decision, but ongoing stories up here have noted that she has successfully placed a lot of abandoned animals in homes, previously. In this instance, she was caught with an overabundance of critters she had taken in at a time when she could neither take them with her nor spend the time to find them all homes because she was in the midst of moving.
So she has been neither soliciting kittens with the intention to torture or harm them nor recklessly breeeding them and suddenly decided to dump them. I have no problem with the actions of the prosecutor and court, but she is not quite the incarnate evil that she is portrayed in more distant locales.
