Oddly enough, earlier tonight Astrogirl asked when we were going to have another SoCal Dopefest. I told her that you all just had one, but we couldn’t go because I had been working, and she was peeved! “I coulda gone alone!” (I doubt she would have gone without me, but one never knows… )
On the up side, though, it was not so terrible for me; while you guys were partying, I was getting paid to watch porn! Yay me!

LOL, one of my jobs is at the local cable company working in the network ops center; while you guys were eating, drinking, and discussing great philisophical conundrums, I was there.
One of my duties during my shift is monitoring the channels that are broadcast, including the Video on Demand channels… many of which are porn!
So, during SurfDope '04 I was sitting in a large room with about a gazillion TV monitors periodically thinking to myself * Dangit! Time to see if Ms. Nude South Beach 2 is still playing… ooooh yeah! There it is! What about the Playboy channel… yup! Better check on Ms. Nude South Beach again… yup yup… Oh! What if Sorority Sluts is having problems? Better check!* etc. etc.
It’s a hard life; good thing I’m tough! 
What’s even better about this story is that you potentially work at a cable company who’s name is reminiscent of the male anatomy.
Please tell me that’s the company you work for. It would just be sublime.

I just thought I’d pop in and say that I had a great time at SurfDope2004. It was the starting point for our 1st anniversary/ vacation trip. The vacation was a great time too. We got back on Saturday(the 16th), and I have been trying to get things put back in place since we got back. Oh the joys of returning from vacation…
It was great meeting everyone Silenus, Yeticus Rex, Shayna, beckwall and her husband, iamthewalrus, scout, Rico and cadolphin and everyone else.
Hey scout we drove past the marathoners in Long Beach… we looked for you, but we didn’t see you. Congrats on finishing and getting a medal.
