My mother’s definition of “protecting Social Security and Medicare” has gone from making sure benefits don’t get cut for their and future generations to making sure that undeserving people don’t bankrupt the system through fraud.

My mother probably has no recollection of migrants eating cats and dogs that she was frothing over five months ago.
If social security benefits for undocumented immigrants are so great, why would they need to eat cats in the first place?
