Surprises coming for voters for the Leopards-Eating-Faces Party

Hey, he’s still alive! And while his kids are unhappy, he’s living the dream!

Derek reappeared in several videos on the family’s YouTube channel uploaded on October 25, celebrating his daughter’s birthday and signing forms to receive his Russian passport.

In one filmed in the family’s neighborhood, he said he was back “on vacation” after being deployed for six months, and praised his wife for keeping the family going while he was gone.

“I’m happy that I’m still alive and doing what I can to survive, and be of service to Russia. I’m so thankful to all the Russian people who have reached out and helped my family while I’ve been gone,” he said.

U.S. family moved to Russia to escape liberal culture and got drawn into the war with Ukraine

That… seems like a pretty shitty thing to have to be “happy” about. Like “I’m happy to have real food on the table today.” The bare minimum.

I feel totally pwned. Maybe he should let the kids come back, but he should totally stay to stick it even harder to the libs

Every day that his neighbors are feeding his family, I feel a little more owned.

He has a Russian passport now, that makes it a lot harder to leave.

I have a friend with an unwanted Russian passport. She also has a US passport, but she doesn’t travel anywhere the Russian one might be relevant.

That’s mighty Communist of them. Good.

A real ruggedly individual American family would turn away from charity.

Oh no…..whatever would we do without his brilliant insights into “woke culture”. We must remedy this situation ….eh, bit busy this month. Maybe we’ll get around to him after the holidays

Nope, two weeks, max…

…and proudly starve. On principle, by damn.

It’s only government charity that is looked down upon. If you can con your neighbors (or the internet via GoFundMe and the like) into supporting you, that’s just good business.

Just saw on Reddit.

:clap:t4: Let’s have more of this!

BTW the “Epstein Shutdown” is definitely the correct term.

“But the gaslighting stops now”.

I mean, fair enough really. Trump was known for his honesty pre-election and now he’s just totally changed. You can’t blame this person for being blindsided.

This is so false as to be risible. No one who knew anything about Trump, even before he first declared his candidacy in 2015, considered him to be honest.

Ya think?

OK, I didn’t catch it was sarcasm. Try a /s after your posts like this.

Trump often did say what he was going to do. Folks just didn’t believe him or substituted what they wanted him to say.

For what it’s worth, I thought the sarcasm in @Princhester’s post was pretty blindingly apparent. But then, this is the Dope: there are many other contexts in which I’d take such remarks at face value.

Ditto.

Good job @thepatrioticblonde. Is that on ‘Truth’ Social? She just told the world what a moron she is.

Time to call/write my congress critters again, not that they will do jack shit. Perhaps I’m a fool for wasting my time.

Does anyone here think there will be any long term ramifications for the Republican party over this atrocity of a Presidency?

They lost in 2025, and maybe they’ll lose in 2026. But the Republican party will do what it always does, ride out a short term loss, lie to everyone about what actually happened, and go back to their old standards of thinly veiled hate, white and christian nationalism, and keep fighting to keep disenfranchizing voters.

And they’ll eventually win back all the idiotic masses, while perpetuating a system of disinformation and pandering to low information voters.

I remember when selling arms to terrorists was going to be the downfall of the Republican party. Then starting an illegal war and catastophically losing it was going to be the end of the party. Then, an anti-science idiot and a pandemic would start the downfall.

Hey, maybe this massively corrupt, war crime committing administration will break the camel’s back. But that fucking camel keeps getting back up.
