Surprises coming for voters for the Leopards-Eating-Faces Party

To which I reference the following scene from Waterworld (possibly NSFW, some gore and implied violence, film was Originally PG-13 however):

Result:

Atoll captive 2: No! No, you said you wouldn’t kill me!
Deacon: Did I say that?!
Atoll captive 2: Yes, yes, yes! You said… you said it!
Deacon: Oh, I may have… I may have! [Gives gun to Nord who then executes the screaming Atoll captive 2]

Well yes; I said “possibility” and mentioned his inconsistency.

Q&A: A South Texas Builder Reckons With His Support for Trump

TM: So he said that in 2015. Now, granted, that was more than ten years ago. I certainly don’t expect anyone to remember everything that was said back then. I definitely don’t. But what he said is, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. . . . They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.” That’s how he launched his first campaign.

MG: If he did say that, that’s honestly my f— up, dude, because I don’t remember him saying . . . I remember him saying that they were sending the worst of the worst, and I believe that the worst of the worst shouldn’t be here.

Whatever happens to you out of this, my dude, you fully deserve it. I mean, I’m glad you’re finally crusading against Trump, but given where you live [Texas] and your background [Latino] your ignorance feels just willful.

Who is TM and MG?

Anyway, anyone that believed or believes Trump is a fool.

Texas Monthly, and the person they’re interviewing.

He will issue her a diplomatic passport.

Arnie: You’re a funny guy, Sully. I like you. That’s why I’m going to kill you last.

And later:

Kaitlyn is like the dog in The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain.

No one had seen Hans for a couple of days.

“Not since he did that brutal thing, you know,” he said.

“What brutal thing?” It was Satan that asked.

“Well, he is always clubbing his dog, which is a good dog, and his only friend, and is faithful, and loves him, and does no one any harm; and two days ago he was at it again, just for nothing—just for pleasure—and the dog was howling and begging, and Theodor and I begged, too, but he threatened us, and struck the dog again with all his might and knocked one of his eyes out, and he said to us, ‘There, I hope you are satisfied now; that’s what you have got for him by your damned meddling’—and he laughed, the heartless brute.” Seppi’s voice trembled with pity and anger. […]

There was an uncomfortable silence, but relief soon came, for that poor dog came along now, with his eye hanging down, and went straight to Satan, and began to moan and mutter brokenly, and Satan began to answer in the same way, and it was plain that they were talking together in the dog language. We all sat down in the grass, in the moonlight, for the clouds were breaking away now, and Satan took the dog’s head in his lap and put the eye back in its place, and the dog was comfortable, and he wagged his tail and licked Satan’s hand, and looked thankful and said the same; I knew he was saying it, though I did not understand the words. Then the two talked together a bit, and Satan said:

“He says his master was drunk.”

“Yes, he was,” said we.

“And an hour later he fell over the precipice there beyond the Cliff Pasture.”

“We know the place; it is three miles from here.”

“And the dog has been often to the village, begging people to go there, but he was only driven away and not listened to.”

We remembered it, but hadn’t understood what he wanted.

“He only wanted help for the man who had misused him, and he thought only of that, and has had no food nor sought any. He has watched by his master two nights. What do you think of your race? Is heaven reserved for it, and this dog ruled out, as your teachers tell you? Can your race add anything to this dog’s stock of morals and magnanimities?”

Afterwards the female interest ask Arnold:
“Where’s Sully?”
" I let him go"

That is awesome.

No disagreement implied, I just wanted to make a crack about how Trump has sooo many endless minions gleefully waiting to stand up to do the dirty work if Trump wants to keep his tiny, tiny hands “clean”.

@SunUp - Yeah, another great one to support this whole thread. A lot of these people become faceless by hearing only the part they wanted to hear…

This really deserves to be noted in this thread. A woman who had overstayed her visa and was technically an illegal immigrant and who “considered herself a supporter of President Trump” and “admired his policy to deport illegal immigrants” found herself arrested, shackled, imprisoned, and deported.

I guess she figured she was safe because…why, exactly? Skin color? European ancestry?

Fuck her.

Probably because she was married to an American citizen, who died earlier this year.

Whether or not she was a Trump supporter, she didn’t deserve the treatment she got from her stepsons and the immigration system.

The magic question: would she support him for president again?

(I’m assuming she can’t vote.)

Of course she didn’t deserve it. Nor do all of the other immigrants caught up in this wretched purge.

But she pushed for this to happen. More precisely, she pushed for this to happen to others, never dreaming that the leopards would turn on her. Indeed, she is a pretty good encapsulation of this pit thread (other than not being an actual voter).

But while she was not eligible to vote, I would be willing to bet her late husband voted for Trump.

Hard disagree. She abso-fucking-lutely deserved it. Fuck her. And all the other fascists and fascists sympathizers in the US deserve the same. Fuck all of them for the violence they do and have done in their name and with their consent each day. There needs to be a reckoning.

Yeah. As far as I’m concerned somebody who supported Trump deserves no sympathy for anything Trump does that hurts them. They wanted to hurt everyone else, I’m not going to sympathize when some of the fallout hits them too.

Declare war on the world, don’t be surprised that the world isn’t sympathetic when you discover that “the world” includes you.

To quote myself from something I’ve posted here a few times:

This is what they wanted for others. This is what they voted for for others. This is what they got for themselves.

I, also, have zero sympathy for them.

A very good summation, @Monty . Well stated!

Wow.

Note that this is twice in one day I find myself agreeing with @Der_Trihs !

I don’t have sympathy for Trumpists hurt by Turmp. You reap what you sow. What goes around comes around. MAGA has hurt people I care about, they have hurt me. I’m not a Christian and I don’t turn the other cheek.
