Survivor 12/12

Same link from the Smoking Gun that I provided above. It’s been updated. Seems Brian was drinking beer on a Sunday afternoon (I suspect football was involved), fell asleep while CC was at the store and he was supposed to be watching the kid, so she woke him up with a punch to the nose when she got home. Police report says he plans to file for divorce.

Oh well, I’m still pulling for him. He’s the best player in the game.

Coming in a little late to reply, but better late than never.

minty green already referred to the article I was going to point to, and yes, it is correct – at least for the American version. Apparently it has not been true for the British version (and I’m not sure about other non-U.S. versions).

Neleh – after Vecepia agreed to drop out if Neleh promised to take her with her. This was no biggie because Neleh had already planned to take Vecepia along anyway.

And I agree with those who have said it’s not a “curse.” It’s just the way things have worked out (sometimes due to good planning, other times due to bad choices). I actually meant to write a follow-up to that article, but never got around to it.

If he wanted to lose the challenge, all he had to do was go slowly. There was no reason to hurry up just so he could misspell the word. And as easy as you think it is to spell, remember that the letters were stylized, he had just run hither and yon to get the letters, they are all running on empty food-wise, etc. So I’m sure his brain was not quite running on all cylinders. It’s an easy enough mistake to make when you’re in a hurry and in his condition.

Reviving this thread in anticipation of tonight-
I think Brian definately threw the reward challenge. If you look at the tape, he had it spelled right at one point and then changed it. Why else would he deliberately yell out the right answer before Jeff said it was right? He obviously doesn’t need a new car, and being away from the tribe for a day at this point is a bad tactical move-much better to stick around and manipulate the players a little more. I think he’s really focused on this game-it’s only a few days to the end, why put yourself in a weaker position just for a shower and a meal that you’ll be getting in a couple days-especially if it improves your chances of being able to pocket a million!
I agree with the Brian-Clay final two-and Brian should get it!
