I may watch the show “live”, but the reunion show will be tomorrow. Anyway, predictions?
If Keith reaches finals, he wins (against any combination of others) but I don’t think he reaches finals.
Natalie wins otherwise.

Nice.
Always like it when the person I’m rooting for wins. I thought she deserved it.
Ooh, and they just had the promo for next season – this could be interesting.
What was the big reveal?
Pretty much as I expected. Surprised Jaclyn got Reed’s vote. I thought the vote would be going 6-1-1, with Jaclyn and Missy getting their loved one vote.
Probst ignored a lot of people. Val, Kelly, Dale (Kelly’s Dad), Rocker’s GF, Drew, and Alec. The Reunion show started about 10-15 minutes later than
I agree with the tweet that asked Probst to NOT go to the audience.
No way Natalie wins if both her and her sister make the merge.
Please, no more Blood v Water seasons. I didn’t like the first one and hated this one.
Next season is Blue Collar vs White Collar vs No Collar
What would’ve happened if there was only one vote for Missy, one vote for Jacklyn and the rest for Natalie? Would Missy and Jacklyn have to split the second place prize? Isn’t it $100,000 for second place? I think Reed knew how the vote would fall, he voted Jacklyn so Missy wouldn’t get to split second place prize money. But since they’ve added a three person tribal council, does the third place person now win something?
Also, if I were a gay man, I’d have it bad for Reed.
Keith, Keith, Keith, you have to PLAY the game. You should have been there arguing that Nat wins if they take her to the final. But you gave up. You just said que sera sera.
What happened to the $100K peoples’ choice award? I thought Keith would’ve gotten it.
Nat deserves the win, no question. The other 2 didn’t even come close.
And, as predicted, cleaned-up Jac can’t hold a candle to down and dirty Jac. The only person I thought looked better at the reunion was Nat.
I originally thought Natalie was making a terrible move by betraying Missy/Baylor and keeping Jaclyn in the game, but it made sense - if she voted out Jaclyn, then she was going home if Keith won the last Immunity because no way do Missy/Baylor vote for each other.
I agreed with notfrommensa’s assertion that if Keith made the final, he won; if Natalie made it and Keith didn’t, she would win. But after the jury questions I suddenly worried that it might be 3 for Natalie (Jeremy, Reed, Josh), 3 for Missy (Baylor, Keith, Wes), 1 for Jaclyn (Jon) with Mouthbreather Alec as the swing vote. Then when we saw Reed for Jaclyn I was very worried Natalie wouldn’t win… but she did! Hooray.
There have been other seasons where two people tied for second (Earl and Cochran both won unanimous votes on three-person finals, Denise won 6-1-1) but I don’t know what the money split is. I figure either they give them both $100,000 or they split the sum of the second and third place prizes.
Like the car, I think it was a sponsor-only thing.
That was Keith’s fatal flaw throughout the game. His default attitude was stoic acceptance of his impending vote-out (followed by stunned amazement whenever he survived another TC or won immunity, then returning to resigned acceptance).
That was sponsored by Sprint; maybe Sprint decided not to do it anymore. It wasn’t done during the last two seasons either.
Natalie’s late-stage gameplay was nearly flawless. I particularly liked how calm and unperturbed she was during Keith’s petulant FTC speech. I sort of wish she had been more assertive in taking credit for her big, game-changing moves, but she really didn’t have to, because Missy and Jaclyn had nothing.
Reed may have thrown a vote to Jaclyn in order to make sure Missy got third place instead of a tie for second.
This. Either someone in production hates Alec with a passion (not that I blame them) or the boy never closed his mouth the entire FTC.
Reed’s “wicked stepmother” speech was right up there with Sue’s famous “snake” rant in Season 1 – maybe better. *Loved *it.
It’s $250,000 for second and $100,000 for third, I believe.
Yeah, I wonder how much longer Survivor is going to be on TV. If they cannot find a sponsor for Fan Favorite, it could be a sign that the show is withering on the vine. Also the fact that the show is no longer taking over Sunday night for the finale.
Yes, it makes sense that Reed voted for Jaclyn to shut Missy out of a T2 finish. IIRC thought 2nd gets 100K and third gets 50K.
Thanks. I forgot that.
When they split tribes by demographics (like Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty, or the ill-begotten race split) it’s never as dramatic as Mark Burnett thinks it’s going to be…always turns out to be a big “meh” and blurred quickly by reshuffling tribes. So the next season collar-split sounds like a yawner.
I want to be Executive Producer in Charge of Challenge Design when I grow up.
They used to give all contestants at least a few seconds to speak at the Reunion; they’ve given up on that, apparently.
Jaclyn’s body looks like a real life barbie doll that we all understand doesn’t exist in the real world.
I would have like them to tie up a few loose ends.
Like Missy’s foot, what exactly happened to it and how long did it take to heal?
And Missy and rice gate. Reed kind of opened the door in his Sue Hawke speech, but they really didn’t finish the story with Dale calling her out on it and her original tribe running out of rice.
Speaking of Missy’s foot – it appears that they’ve changed their guidelines as to how much medical care a contestant can get and still stay in the game. We’ve seen players get pulled out because of burns, nasty cuts and severe constipation, and apparently they had no choice: if you get the care you need, you’re out of the game. Now we’ve got somebody getting a hard cast and staying in?
