Survivor Blood vs. Water 2 finale - Tonight December 17 (and live finale) open spoilers

Crazies:
Shane from Cirie’s first season, and the hippie chick from the same season, Courtney.
Kass
Matt, the guy with the machete from Amazon
Zane from Abi-Maria’s season, who volunteered to get booted, thinking that would somehow protect him
Wanda, who sang all the time
Yao Man was crazy like a fox, but what about Cao Boi from Yul’s season
Dreamz
Judd, man

I loved that challenge.

I was just in Afghanistan and I downloaded a couple of old seasons that I had missed, I was really struck by how much better the gameplay was in those seasons; people really seemed to be thinking two moves ahead, but getting taken out by someone thinking three moves ahead. This past season just seemed lackluster compared to the early seasons.

Botox Lip Surgery gone wrong would be handy for this challenge

So true! It appears to me that game play has lost out to the weirdness factor. The “challenges” almost always revolve around solving puzzles, too.

Is it just me or do those lips look sideways?

You just need to cock your head.

For frame of reference…what seasons?

We could be referring to different things but in my own case the season that introduced Rupert was a turning point away from strategy and manipulation of the other contestants and toward an emphasis on “personality” and “quirkiness.” JMHO. (I’ll have to check for season number.)

I will say that the Rupert introductory season was the last one I really enjoyed. I watch now more out of habit and because Survivor’s time slot rarely has much competition in my taste range.

ETA: Survivor: Pearl Islands - Wikipedia Season 7

Rupert’s first season? Good gawd, that was over 10 years ago, and it was the last one you enjoyed? Why do you keep watching then?

Reminds me of the line. “I like jamming ice picks in my ear because it feels so good when I stop.”

The only thing I remember about that season was the ghost tribe, and Fairplay lying about his grandmother dying.

I think Cook Islands was my favorite season. I didn’t like this season at all, nor the other BvW.

It’s more of a “family thing” where we bet on who’s going to last longer. That much is fun because I win more than I lose.

This season they did a great job moving away from having all the challenges revolve around solving puzzles.

Sorry, I was traveling and missed this. I just watched Fuji and Micronesia for the first time. There were some great tribals where both sides think they are about to blindside the other, just a lot of fun. I still enjoy the show, but it just doesn’t seem to be at that level.
