Survivor: Exile Island Ep. 2 - "Breakdown"

betraying that there is an alliance by telling the older women that they would be the next ones voted off and just deal with it presupposes that everything will go according to plan. It seems to me that will cause Cirie to work that much harder to harder to sway the others to her sideand they are only one vote away from a tie. What if cirie is the next one to spend time on exile island finds the immunity idol and they have to vote someone else off? What if InShane goes into withdrawal and has the DT’s or something? What if Aras has an unfortunate accident? What if someone in the brainless quartet does something so completely stupid that they just can’t be kept? It just seems like “famous last words” for Arass.

I agree completely and I’ve said so all along. But trying to fix that mistake now by breaking up the alliance would just be adding a second major blunder on top of the first one.

Hee hee hee. InShane. That’s my new favorite.

I would like to propose Cypress Hill’s “Insane in the Brain” as his unofficial theme song. I know I’ll be thinking of it now every time I see his face on TV.

I’ve been singing it all morning.

Unfortunately Survivor lost what could have been the greatest moment in their show’s history (at least the greatest moment not involving female nudity). Imagine if Shane had stuck to his original plan to quit and was voted out at Tribal Council. He snuffs his torch and strides down the Walk of Shame. Suddenly Aras leaps off his bench and runs after him yelling “Shane!..Come back!..Shane!”

I wish Jeff had questioned him more, and perhaps changed his mind again about quitting. “So, I hear you want to quit. Is this true? You want a cigarette? You want to talk to your kid? You want to quit, then quit, dammit!”

Maybe they could have gotten some crew members to hide behind the rocks and chain-smoked, so he could smell it, but not see it, and intensify his cravings and make him a little more crazy.

I bet you … (checks wallet) … 43¢ that they already are. Psychotic breaks make for excellent reality television.

I’m sure there are people on the internet already writing slashy fanfiction that includes the line “We love you, Shane!” coming from Aras…
