Survivor: Game Changers Starts on Wednesday

Sarah’s decision to take out Michaela, IMHO was to knock Cerie down but to keep her close. If they had taken Cerie out, Michaela would have been holy hell to deal with around camp, a huge wildcard. Now that Cerie’s sneakiness gets exposed, Sarah believes that she can control her better than she could have Michaela.

ETA: The legacy advantage that Sarah got from Sierra has to be used when there are 6 left, so next episode.

Sarah got from Sierra in Survivor. Say that 5 times, real fast!

Does Tai have to use up both Idols next vote? I hope so because it would be lame if he could ride them into final 3 or 4.

Last couple of seasons you could play it through Final Five, so he could guarantee himself 4th.

It’s Cirie, not Cerie.

I agree that the episode was exciting, but I’m getting really sick of the editors not showing us what actually happens.

I disagree. I think she made herself look really foolish in front of the jury by trying to play an advantage that she did not have the right to play. (Despite what Jeff said, there was really no trust shown by Sarah in letting Cirie hold the advantage. That was basically a scam.)

ETA:

I was really puzzled by this also. She looks currently to be getting a “winner’s edit”, although those people do not always win.

I would very much like to see Sara go. I’ve never been a fan and I really thought a few times she would be gone just because she seemed to be on a power trip. I wanted to scream when Sierra gave her the legacy idol last week.

Well you’re stuck with her for another week as she has to play that legacy advantage next tribal. Looking up my own earlier question, it looks like Tai has to use at least one or maybe both of his secret idols next week. So we are looking at a coming vote where only half or less of the participants can be voted off assuming neither of those two win individual, which is a fairly safe assumption.

Yup, the vote at 6 is gonna be silly.

Sarah will need to play her legacy advantage.
Tai will play at least one Idol, and from the looks of the preview, might give one (or both??) away.
Troyzan has an Idol to play.

And of course regular immunity. Either Cirie or Aubry is gonna get screwed.

Cirie better pray for a non-physical challenge.

Maybe the award wil go to the one who had to try hardest to even finish? She’s a lock on that.

I have quite enjoyed this season, but weirdly, I don’t really give a damn who wins.

Last week, when she had to jump off that perch into the water, didn’t she say something like “whey do I keep doing this”?

But you know, I don’t really see these guys suffering all that much. Not like in some of the early seasons.

If I have this correct, there are 4 immunities out there, one of which must be played at the next vote, the others within the next two votes. Throw in the challenge winners, and it will indeed be crazy.

It would be extremely foolish of Tai to give one of his idols away. As it stands, he is guaranteed final four if he plays one idol at each of the next two TC’s. Getting yourself to the final four should be much more important than trying to orchestrate who else is there, IMO.

Not that it would be the first extremely foolish thing Tai has done.

Kudos to Cirie for nominating herself for Goat of the Year, and Sarah was hilarious… “Could I have that back, please? Since you’re done with it? Thanks.”

Indeed. Especially since the last IC is often a balance/endurance type challenge and he is very good at those.

Not as much recently, they usually tend to be a giant obstacle course that requires grabbing multiple pieces for a puzzle. Going in backwards order, the last 10:

MvX: stacking bowls with tongs
Koah Rong: obstacle course + puzzle
Cambodia: keep the balls going through the track
Worlds Apart: obstacle course + puzzle
San Juan Del Sur: obstacle course + puzzle
Cagayan: obstacle course + puzzle
Blood vs Water: obstacle course + puzzle
Caramoan: obstacle course + puzzle
Phillippines: holding a ball up with poles
One World: stacking bowls with tongs

(I kinda do miss the final IC being a pure endurance challenge, though…)

I had nodded along with the point about final IC being endurance, so good on you for eradicating my ignorance! :o I guess it’s hard to extinguish an expectation built up over so many seasons. (How many of the seasons before those most recent ten did have an F4 IC that matched the endurance description, do you know?)

The Endurance Challenge was used in earlier seasons when it was an F3 IC, so the winner got to pick who they would be sitting against. Not quite the same dynamic for F4 IC.

I do miss the pure endurance ones because it really does come down to just pure willpower, but I don’t think anything will every top Tom and Ian’s 12 hour challenge.

I would be fine if they got rid of the endurance challenges, as they seem to have done with the eating of rotten food and live bugs. In both cases it is too close to seeing how much torture people will endure for money for my taste.
