Actually, wouldn’t life in loser lodge make for a good documentary or special?
That might depend on how you define “good.” I would have liked to have seen life in Loser Lodge for Palau, but I don’t so much care this time. I mean, I’d still watch it, but on a scale of 1-10, with one being “getting Nerds candy up your nose” and 10 being “having Ian and Ethan cook you hamburgers and buy you expensive presents,” I’d rate “Loser Lodge: Guatemala” somewhere around a 3 or 4.
The “Jury House” segment of Big Brother has never been particularly interesting. Somehow I doubt that the Survivor version would be all that much better.
Plus, it’s really not in their best interests to glorify the Loser Lodge. Get enough people playing the game who are aiming for #3-9, and the game changes for the not-so-good…
