Survivor: One World May 9 2012 "It's Human Nature"

This kind of reasoning drives me nuts though. The HII isn’t some magic “can’t ever vote for me” shield. It only works if you play it. So a blindside against an idol-holder is still a possibility. But even if she were to figure it out and use the idol to save herself, then guess what? She wouldn’t have the idol anymore! It just makes no sense to treat someone with an idol as untouchable. (ETA: I realize it’s too late now and there’s only one TC left with the idol in play. The ideal time for a blindside was the night they voted Troyzan out.)

That said, though, at this point I’d much rather see Kim cruise to victory than see her voted out. She really is the most deserving player left.

I’d sell them to Darrell.

Blindsides are harder to start than you would think. You need to pull in 3 or 4 more people, trusting that none of them will tell Kim. Because if anyone does, you’re going next.

I vote that it’ll be either Chelsea, Christina and Alicia in the finale. Or Kim, Christina, and Alicia. Nobody wants to be sitting next to Chelsea, Sabrina, or Kim because they are well liked. (Well, except by Kat, who doesn’t seem to be taking her blindside very cheerfully. Touche!) Chelsea seems to be loyal to Kim, but she’d be stupid to take Kim to the finale.

Tarzan was entertaining, but odder than a one-winged duck. I do believe that he seriously will not put a new muffler on his car now, despite having tons of money. He’s just that odd.

Oh, and I still don’t get why a series would broadcast all of its episodes on a Wednesday night, then switch to another night for the finale. Thank God the DVR is programmed to record no matter what.

With or without the mustache?

I hadn’t noticed. Does she have one?

I gotta agree with those who are saying that not voting for someone because you think they might have the HII is stupid, especially if that person is the sure winner. Flush the damn thing out at least.

The concept of the Hidden Immunity Idol and the way the players react to it have become moribund; I’d like to see some changes in the way it’s played:[ul][]Keep the concept of having it buried or hidden at the start, but mandate that whoever finds it has to reveal the find no later than the first Tribal Council attended after the find. From that point forward, the owner must actually wear the thing at Council (playing it would still be optional).[]When the game moves to individual immunity challenges, the owner of the Hidden Idol must choose to play or skip the competition. If they play and win, they must give away either the immunity necklace just won or the Hidden Idol (i.e. you can’t hold both simultaneously).[/ul]I figure if they can experiment with Redemption Island, they can certainly experiment with the mechanics of the idols. Maybe then we would see more challenges to the Hidden Idol owner and more attempts at blindsides.

How about this: no immunity idols (except the one from the IC) ? Either you can engineer not getting voted off, or you can’t. No tricks, no gimmicks.
