I’m still glad Marty’s gone. He was incredibly annoying even if he did manage to fool Fabio and provide the most amusing moment of the season so far.
So what’s up with the preview for next week? Benri looked like he was about puke. Do they find NaOnka’s dead body washed up on shore?
My take is that everyone wants to end up in the final three with Dan and Nay. Those 2 have a straight ticket to the finals. Which means everyone else is playing to protect those for their own gain. It also means that Brenda is going to have to cut Sash at some point, (and vice versa)
For the reward challenge, the quickest way to get the key off the spiral metal thing is to have one person “boost” you up with your foot in their finger-interlaced hands. You hop up and grab the metal spiral, hoping your weight dislodges it from the pole, which would instantly release the key. If it doesn’t come loose, other tribe members gets under you while you’re hanging and steadies you to remove it normally. You’ll be higher and more stable this way.
For the immunity challenge, make up a little song with the clues as a mnemonic. Once I was singing about gun ships, I didn’t miss a single clue.
I think their camp is gonna be washed out or else overrun by ants or something.
I’m going with: Either NayDonkey burt the camp down, or it washed out. Leaning toward the washout, but I wouldn’t rule out the razing out of spite if Nonkey thought she really was going to be voted out.
Our family went with the “monkeys tore the camp apart and smeared everything with feces” theory.
No, that would bring on “the happy dance” not long faces.

Man, the idea that you keep the most obnoxio dude on so that they won’t get any votes in the final vote has really taken off. But it’s bad plan this early.
Re next week: I assumed that their camp was washed out.
That was a good reward. Except I think every reward should have a chance to shower.
I used to like Jane but she’s grating on me a bit these past two tribals. I think she should have kept the hate to herself.
Sasha is very good about keeping his smugness to himself.
Watching the Ponderosa videos, I am amazed that the contestants are not showering right away. Well, after the pigging out on their favorite comfort food. I get antsy if I go more than a day w/o showering. I would hate to think how I would feel after three weeks w/o soap and hot, clean water.
You’d get used to it. Hunger on the other hand is difficult to get used to.
I did indicate that the players could pig out on their favorite comfort food.
The contestants all appear to be in no hurry to take a shower. It looks like it is hours before they consider cleaning up.
Wow… I’ve been reading the 3 little pigs almost every night for the past 3 weeks at my daughter’s request and somehow failed to catch that. I feel so dumb.
I’m back to rooting for Brenda. She and Sash are the only ones really playing the game, and she’s hotter than he is. I’m still not sure what what up with the whole Idol-flush-tie on Marty then vote Kelly out thing a few weeks ago. But she’s got a bit of the Parvati vibe to her… I think she’s got a good feel for what’s going on, better certainly than Marty did. (Or Chase, or Fabio, or Jane…)
Of course on the whole, this season still sucks…

I’m glad Marty’s gone, I was so tired of listening to his sanctimony. Especially after he gave his idol away, he deserved to be gone at that point. But to then listen to him spout off day after day without being humbled even a little was just too much. I don’t look forward to his predictable tiresome, withering jury speech at the finale. It’s all about you, Marty, I get it.
I’m rooting for Brenda because she’s smart, under the radar, and seems to have the ability to instantly size up the other players and where she stands. And, yeah, she’s hot. And I think Sasha’s ego will eventually bring him down. That said, Brenda has made a couple really stupid moves, involving letting someone else get a HII using her idea. Carpe Simulacrum, girl!
The less said about NaOnka, the better.
I keep forgetting to ask: How did the “purple” get into Purple Kelly?
She has purple dye in the bottom third of her hair. Someone’s been braiding it for her, so you can’t see it anymore.
