The Season of Winks. Other than the Rupert surprise pretty dreadful so far.
Bet the producers hate that Rupert is gone.
Look for a twist that just happens to let him back in again.
If that wasn’t Rupert in a nutshell. Reckless, impatient, better to do something quickly than give a ounce of thought before getting started.
So happy to see Rupert gone. Woot!
Okay, so am I a bad person because I was rooting for Candace’s boyfriend to get voted out just so I could see two loved ones battling it out against each other in the next duel?
Dear lord I hope the Returning tribe votes out Colton at the first opportunity. He provides nothing to the team. At least they seem onto the fact that he’s not changed; I’m just worried they’ll think he’s a useful ally to take to the end since he’s so unlikeable. But episode 2 is a bit early to be telling everyone lies and stirring up animosity. He’s pissed at the “kumbaya” feeling simply because no one else wants to play his scheming games since that’s the only way he can do anything.
And yeah, not surprising that Rupert’s the first one out. Not sure if sacrificing himself counts as a “Dumbest Survivor Move” or not. This was his fourth time, I think it makes sense to let his wife play instead just for the experience.
Sad to see Rupert go.
No alliance in the game is going to be as strong as people’s ties with their love one. (except maybe for Gervase and Vytas) John was just the first example. Vytas seems like a solid schemer.
Funny that Monica said she came out to play for herself this time, but maybe she just means she’s going to be less of a doormat to Colton. Aras and Tina don’t seem like the kind of people to put up with Colton’s bullshit, so I don’t think he will stay long.
Interesting to see in the preview of next week that Colton has a tantrum and possibly threatens to quit. Personally I’d like him to stick around a couple of episodes and then get medevaced again, preferably in great pain.
If the returnees keep winning the immunity challenges I hope there’s an early merge, otherwise the entire premise of the season will be wasted.
That preview (like the previous one that spoiled that Gervase wasn’t subbing out) is just massively horribly edited, by the way.
Right after Tyson gets up and says something to the effect that you guys are all going down (for voting out Rachel), you can see him sitting next to Colton as he gets up and runs over to Caleb.
I want to see Colton in one of those tackling challenges, and I want to see someone body slam his arrogant ass and knock the prissy, sarcastic, spoiled wind right out of him.
The producers are quite skillful at showing a film clip and leaving you with the impression something big happened or is about to happen on the next episode. Of course, when it finally airs, it’s nothing at all. Something like “Native tribe decimates survivor camp.” When it airs, two natives are showing walking down the beach, leaving footprints.
Colton is just such a negative, nasty person. I have to wonder if this is a Survivor “character” he puts on or if he’s this bad in real life. I can’t imagine that he could keep an act up the whole time, so I have to assume he’s really like that.
Does anybody remember what his job is? I mean, other than sitting on his mama’s porch sipping mint juleps and hanging out with the black people he’s friend’s with.
People? It was a black person. His family’s housekeeper.
I know. I was speaking from his reality, not everybody else’s. 
I’ve said this before and will again, I do not find him fun to watch. I want him to quite now and be out of the game.
They should not have brought him back.
I am reasonably sure that the Powers that Be run programs in Survivor threads like this one to see what players are getting the most HITS.
They don’t care whether the comments are negative or positive.
And since players like Colton, Rupert and Russell gets a lot of comments, they equate that to popularity.
But Colton can quit anytime, sooner the better.

OK, so do the returnees now see what they gave up in order to keep Colton? They may be thinking about throwing a challenge just to get rid of him.
Once I figured out WHO it was, I was just thinking “Wha? When did THIS start and what exactly is it?”
And then I was just like, “Awww…they’re kind of adorable together, even if they’re just really comfortable friends.”
