Survivor: Tocantins 2/26

I’m assuming jayjay is referring to Probst’s line of questioning after the reward challenge about “same two people at Exile - does that concern you?” (I think directed at Spencer). Since Brendan was the one that picked Taj it could be taken as “hey, do you think these two are going to be setting up a secret alliance?” (which, in fact, they seem to be).

Fortunately, Spencer(?) answered that they were just doing the rational thing by sending the people that had already gone - he assumed Brendan chose Taj for the same reason they picked Brendan.

They fail to take into account that Brendan is out to shame, cuckold, or embarrass Eddie George!

Knowing a few egominiacal narcissists in my time, I figure the next move on Coach’s part is to obsessively discredit Brandon for daring to even seem to be a better leader.

That Tyson guy is either a better Fairplay than Fairplay (his act became an annoying shtick pretty quickly) or a complete Psychopath.

Looks interesting.

What I miss (couldn’t find anyway) are those popularity polls they used to have at the CBS website where you could rank the players and compare your ranking to those of the rest of the people ranking them.

Do those still exist and I just can’t find them?

If not, maybe we need one here?

Got it in one. Probst inserts himself a little too much into the contestants’ strategies. If I were Taj or Brendan, I’d be asking for a 1-on-1 with Burnett or whoever the on-location producer other than Probst is. He’s been doing this the last three or four seasons and it’s very annoying. It’s almost equivalent to a strategy cock-block. “Hey, did you notice that those two went the last time, too? Think maybe they’re conspiring against their tribes? Do ya? Huh? Do ya?”

SHUT UP, PROBST!

Check out Sandy’s extra insider video at cbs.com. She is snuggle bunnies with Spencer. FTR, Spencer is only 6 yrs older than her grandson.

Coach is unbearable. Oh well, at least his boot episode will be incredibly amusing (for a few minutes I thought it would be this episode…but nope…not yet). Tyson is playing smart as “assistant coach” - he’ll be the one to take Coach down.

Sierra is surprising me. She has finesse.

Uneventful episodes so far…I’m hoping for a tribe switch soon to mix things up a bit…

Well, she said in the video that she was aiming to be the lovable Gramma of the tribe, which doesn’t sound all that weird – she wants to be likable, which is a respectable strategy. Nevertheless, when I see her explain it in that video, she sounds creepy as hell.

Er… He’s been doing it since the very first season, when he outed Rich Hatch’s alliance. I was pissed about it at the time, but knowing how he actually gets to that point not by having inside info but by probing throughout Tribal Council, I like what he does. Indeed, it’s what sets him above every other reality TV host (IMO).

I can’t wait for his post-show interview. Talking to Candace (http://www.realitynewsonline.com/cgi-bin/ae.pl?mode=1&article=article8677.art&page=1) was hysterical, and I expect Coach to be completely oblivious to his own ego.

I don’t really see how he gave anything away. Having the same two go to exile obviously raises some questions. The most obvious being some sort of collusion or conspiracy. He simply asked what everyone was already wondering.
