this will not end well.
He seems nice.
It’s going to be weird for everyone to get used to saying He Who Must Not Be Named.
Diaper?
When you’re standing in the charred ruins of your work, the only smart move is to promote the guy who was handing out the gasoline.
This joker’s just gonna take the money and run, probably on Trump’s jet airliner.
He’ll last just long enough to say “I wanna reach out and grab ya”
Nosferatu lives.
You mean he’ll just fly away? Like an eagle?
Moderating:
Since this thread was presumably opened in Politics & Elections for a reason, let’s keep the jokes and cracks to no more than a +1 to the rest of your post. If it’s just a crack (as 90% are so far), I’m going to close the thread with an option to re-open in the Pit.
I’m giving the thread a brief time-out so everyone reads this first.
ETA - @Daithi_Lacha, if you’re like this to be pre-emptively moved to the Pit, where unbridled Political humor has free run, you can PM me or flag it for a move by any available moderator of course.
The following Pit thread was recently bumped to discuss this same subject in the rudest possible terms:
For those who want to express their feelings without worry.

Natalie Harp will be gone within the month.
Miller is exactly the kind of supercilious grand vizier-wannabe type who’ll resent anyone other than himself with direct access to the President. He’ll frame her for something, Trump will turn on her, and she’ll be out.
Unless she’s already his creature, which is a possibility.
Tell me I don’t want to ‘work with’ the Democrats without telling me “I don’t want to work with the Democrats”…
I don’t know if she’s one of “his”, but I think she’d be around because she’s a useful distraction. And he can threaten and bully her. Or just say “I’m helping him, this is what you need to do to help me help him.”
At this point i’d bet on her over anyone else in that administration to still be standing when the knifes come out.
He’ll find a pretext to deport her. He’s the architect behind the administration’s immigration strategy, after all.
Listening to Trump a bit on NPR on my drive home, I heard him say he chose Miller because he has been with him a long time, he knows him well, and he considers him an excellent “manager”.
I feel like any move that gives Miller more of a public face is going to be bad for Republicans. He already has a terrible reputation, much of the country loathes him, and he’s best suited to lurk in the shadows like Wormtongue. At least he wasn’t named as press secretary, though I’d love to see what that would look like. (Probably reporters asking questions and him just awkwardly staring them down in silence.)
I thought it weird that the resignation is effective the same day.
However, AI tells me that the same was true with Ronald Reagan’s Don Regan. Regan apparently had a falling out with the First Lady.
There must be a dramatic story for it to take effect same day. Am I missing it, or do we have to wait for the tell-all books?
Nah, Stephen Miller sure isn’t going to change those diapers.
