Look, I’m too intoxicated to post any coherent thoughts right now – it’s a wonder that I can even spellcheck myself. Let’s just say it was a suweeeeet gathering, and several Dopettes danced on the bar at Red Rocks West. I’m not naming names.

It was a good thing I was there to keep you folks nice and quiet like.
And an extra special thanks to (in alphabetical order)CajunMan, Cap’n Crude(who is aptly named), manhattan and Sua Sponte for helping me drink in the lifestyle that I have grown accostumed to.

One thing I love about Dopefests is how they start off, 'specially when there is a good percentage of Fest newbies, a little stilted and awkward, but within half an hour it’s like everyone’s known each other for ever.
As always, it was wonderful to see everyone, and especially wonderful to meet GilaB, Zev, cm, Cap’n Crude, ChoosyBeggar, and Magdalene (as well as the Boy).
Sorry we took off early and missed the bar show. Definitely next time, though.

I can’t imagine what makes you say that. 
Though I must express my deep frustration with magdalene for her very half-hearted groping of Sua, since I then had to do it all myself. Sheesh.
I apologize for leaving before the bar-dancing started, since I was dressed for it and all, but I was beginning to develop a migraine, which would have precluded any sort of civilized interaction on my part. Next time, I promise.
It was terrific to see everyone, especially those who were festing for the first time (or whom I had missed at prior dopefests). And of course it was wonderful to welcome our out-of-towners Magdalene and Geobabe – we missed you, Sue!
A special shout-out goes to those lovely lady dopers who danced on the bar at Red Rock (I’ll leave it to you to identify yourselves or not!) If I had shown up there with all those fabulous doperbabes and none of them got up, I would never have heard the end of it.
Finally, I want to thank the Red Rock bar staff for being so nice and charging me for, oh, about half the alcohol I put on my card. My 401-K (which looks more like a 201-K right now) thanks you.
Thank you everyone for putting on such a good party! I had a blast meeting all of you, and you certainly showed me the sights - beautiful women in leather pants, rhinestone-studded lighters, kosher restaurants that also serve sushi, and the lovely view of the tops of bar patrons’ heads. Must…buy…hula hoop…
