The latest Radiolab podcast had a segment on search-and-replace errors. They mentioned an error caused by the American Family Association’s reposting of an AP article. The AFA is a conservative Christian group and claim to fight the “homosexual agenda.” This turned a news article about one of the aforementioned runners into something titled, “Homosexual eases into 100 final at Olympic trials,” and included the awesome quote, “Asked how he felt, Homosexual said: ‘A little fatigued.’”

Was just gonna mention that! Read the headline from the OP and thought “well, it COULD be worse…much worse” lol
