T.J. Hooker is back on the air in syndication on A&E.
However, it’s on at 3 or 4 am.
Please send A&E a kind email asking them to move this great show to a more reasonable hour.
Thank you.
(Man, I need TIVO!)

Call me Officer TJ Hooker…Sheriff Officer TJ Hooker. And this is my deputy, McMillan & Wife.
No more dilly-dallying. You can currently get a TiVo box for $49.99 after a mail-in rebate (1-year TiVo service commitment required). That’s $150 off the retail price.
For some odd reason, I read that as “T.J. Hooker is BLack!”
I have no idea why.
Mmmm… a young Heather Locklear…
uh oh
For no particular reason, I feel compelled to mention that Richard Herd, who played the police captain on TJH, was seated in the same row of a flight I was on once.
Other than that, I got nothin’.
Coach or business?
I wouldn’t have learned how to trip a running man with a thrown baton, but for T.J.
Nor how to jump onto the hood of a moving car.
Or how to stop a runaway school bus.
So, did T. J. Hooker ever get this shirt ripped in the line of duty?
A&E is an interesting channel to show it, since TJH barely qualifies as Art or Entertainment (except in the basest sense).
But a 21-year old Heather Locklear. :sigh:
Biz, and I was only there because the company, which normally would try to send people air freight if they thought they could get away with it, was unable to book a coach seat.
A friend of mine played a murder suspect on T.J. Hooker, and got to punch William Shatner. Or his stand-in.
Before I went to bed, I saw a preview of the episode they were about to run, in which Heather Locklear’s character gets amnesia in a car accident, and coincidentally falls into the caretaking hands of a brutal criminal.
Classic TV. Classic.
Why? Would it have cost him too much to punch Shatner himself?
Does it make you feel better or worse to know that it’s been on for quite some time in the wee hours of the morning? I’ve come across it before when I can’t sleep. I’m not much of a fan so I’ve kept flipping.
The line of people waiting to punch the real Shatner was too long.
I remember an episode of T.J. Hooker where Hooker punched a suspect so hard that the suspect fell through a wall and ended up inside a jail cell, and Hooker said something to the effect of: “Good, that’s where you belong.”
Stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.
Funny that this comes up now. Heather Locklear is going to be on whatever show Shatner is on now. Deadeye’s Mom saw the preview and yelled across the room “TJ Hooker is back”.
