T-Shirts!

No problem. I probably overreacted. Anyway, “Bad Hombre” and “Nasty Woman” seem to be popular so I have the matching pair in the pipeline.

Suggestion 1: Develop a thicker skin if you are going to ask for input.

Suggestion 2: I know there are colors other than white available, but I didn’t know that until you explained it. Maybe the examples should be shown in different colors. All that white is a turn-off.

Good luck,
mmm

Amazon’s software determines how things are displayed. I have no control over it.

OP, how many shirts have sold?

Weird. I see all sorts of different colors of clothing displayed on Amazon.
mmm

This is a specific program called Amazon Merch. You upload your graphics and choose the available shirt colors and styles. They take care of payments, shipping, etc., and you get a cut of all sales.

There’s nothing weird about it. They’re the ones selling the shirts, they have a template they use, and I have no control over it. The main sales page for a given shirt design shows all of the available colors.

Maybe my Amazon Assistant app does it for me, but when I change to the style and color I like but go to another design it stays what I selected (even in the great new designs).

I *really *dislike the designs where multiple horizontal words spell out a vertical word with highlighted letters. They look cheap, amateurish, and unimaginative.

The TRUMP one in particular is awkward the way it is shoehorned to fit your idea. You even ignored one of the words in your phrase to make it work.
mmm

David, which designs have sold so far?

My guess is none, as OP didn’t answer my previous question.

OP didn’t answer your previous question because OP just now noticed it. Thank you for pointing it out.

I’ve sold two “Who Would Jesus Deport” t-shirts. That’s the design you suggested, so thank you!

What word did I ignore?

I’ll answer my own question because I just realized what you meant, or at least what I think you meant.

At first I thought that you meant the phrase was completely missing a word. I now realize that you meant the word “wars”, because I didn’t include it in the formation of “TRUMP”.

I see what you’re saying. I didn’t see it as a problem and I’m still not sure that I do. I was thinking of “Trade Wars” as a single phrase that belongs on one line.

Yes I forced the acronym but I’m not sure that that’s a problem.

If it doesn’t sell then I’ll eventually replace it with something else. Amazon only allows 10 designs, at least to start, and they’ll remove designs that don’t sell even if I don’t remove them myself.

In any case I appreciate the critique.

Are you open to suggestions for future shirts?

If so, do they necessarily have to be Trump related?

I’d be happy to contribute some ideas.
mmm

I’m absolutely open. Maybe I’ll replace the trade wars shirt. I’m starting to agree that it’s a bad design.

They do not have to be Trump related. They can be poltical or completely apolitical. About the only restriction would be that I will not do anything pro-Trump. Also, Amazon won’t allow anything violence or adult themed, and obviously I can’t violate any trademarks or copyrights.

Also, they don’t have to be strictly text. I’m not a talented artist but I can do some simple graphics.

OK, just off the top of my head (all Trumps, cuz you got me thinking about him):

George W: Greatest GOP Prez of the Millennium

(length may be an issue)

George W: Looking Better Every Day

Dump Trump

(stylized so D is over TR, and UMP is larger and shared by both words)

My Walls Have Windows and Doors

(maybe too vague?)
mmm

Yeah, I don’t get the “windows and doors” thing.

Yep, scratch that one.

It’s a reference to Trump’s border wall.

Most walls have windows and doors to allow access both ways, or at least communication or exchange of thoughts and ideas. Trump’s wall is solid, designed to shut out those who are not like ‘us’.
mmm

Okay, I get it now, but others may be as dense as me.

davidm. I designed a line of tee shirts for you to include in your eCommerce site. Feel free to use them free of charge (unless you start making mucho dinero … then, I won’t say “no” to a fee of 15% of gross sales :D).

*Your new Tee Shirt Line!

It’s kind of a lark. But, if you do want some help in your endeavor, let me know.

The cat one might do well. My only concern would be the source of the photo. I don’t want any copyright problems.
