Tahini lifespan?

So I buy me some organic tahini in a jar. I store it in the fridge. Once it’s opened, how long will it last in the fridge? Is it like other nut butters that can hang on for quite a while or do I have to then hunt up a bunch of tahini recipes?

I suppose if it were very perishable, it would be mentioned on the label but I just thought I’d inquire - better safe than sorry and all that.

It’s safe for a long while. We have used ours for over a year without ill effects.
