Take a guess at when you will end up being vaccinated

I intially guessed that I would be vaccinated in April, but there were still some hoops to jump through in April. Today I got my first dose. I could have gotten it a few days ago, because at the pharmacy it was just “walk on in and get vaccinated”. I scheduled it for today just in case I had side effects to deal with, and I’m off work tomorrow. It’s been about an hour, so far so good.I got the Pfizer vaccine, and today I will fortify the internal protection with alcohol. Bottoms up!

Update on my earlier prediction:

Received 1st dose April 14, waiting for second.
Wife received first dose May 14
Daughter #1 received first dose on May 18
Daughter #2 received first dose 2 minutes ago!

The wife and I should be fully vaccinated by July 31. The kids are going to camp until mid-August, so I’m guessing August 31.

Substantially ahead of my December prediction and very relieved.

Had my first back in March and was scheduled for my second one 12 weeks after (early June).
As the roll-out has been going well in the UK and the Indian variant is a potential issue there has been a push to get all over-50’s to have second doses a little sooner.
I was dubious about bringing it forward too much as the longer gap actually gives a better overall outcome in terms of protection, however, I’m also off on holiday very shortly and so being “fully” vaccinated and being able to show it could well be a benefit as well.
Long story short. My wife got an NHS prompt to get hers earlier and she did rebook and went yesterday. At the entrance to the centre she asked if I could walk in and bring mine forward as well. Sure enough they were happy to do so, so instead of waiting for her outside with a coffee I had my second dose as well.
So we are both now double-jabbed, AZ vaccine, 9 weeks apart so that is a pretty solid guard against any serious disease and I expect that come booster time later in the year we’ll get Pfizer or an evolution thereof.

Feeling good, no after-effects and looking forward to our holidays and a more open situation when restrictions are further lifted in June. I’ve also got tickets to the Open in July and my wife has booked tickets for the theatre next month. These feel like little glimmers of normality and that feels good.

My second shot is on the 21st of June.
36 year old, with no underlying health conditions.
I had expected late third quarter of 2021 at the earliest.
