Takes one to know one, Ollie

You gotta read this.

You fucking asshole. You, of all people, DARE to condemn Muslims? The majority of Muslims were not aiding murderers, terrorists and rapists. They did not lie. They didn’t fucking break the law and commit treason. (Which he basically did when he sold weapons to people who fucking KILLED OUR MARINES, in my opinion).

Hey, asshat-the Taliban didn’t even fucking EXIST in 1985. And if they had, you probably would have sold them weapons, in order to obtain money for your beloved contras, those “freedom fighters” who were out raping and murdering half of the population of Nicaragua, you fucking bastard.

Rot in hell, you bigoted son of a bitch.

ROFLMAO! Gad, girlie, what were you looking for when you came across that?

OMG, it gets funnier the further you go…

BWAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA!!! I love it.

Oh, sorry, it’s a rant. Um…

[snicker]
[shhh, guin’s trying to rant]
[sorry]

It was a topic over at the Snopes board.

Yeah, I just LOVED that comment. Hehehehe…especially his reaction. I would have said, “Yes, I DO mind. So answer the question!”

Hehehehe…

Still, the guy is just an ass. And most of his colleagues said he used to make up stories all the time-he was a liar long before Iran Contra, or even before he went to Vietnam, from what I’ve read.

I love the photo and the caption underneath it.

Goodness. I don’t even know what to say to that.

What pisses me off the most, beside the blatantly disgusting hypocracy of Oliver North, is that he really, truly believes that he is right. He honestly thinks that, despite every fucked-up act he has committed against this world, he is somehow superior because he is a Christian. Never mind that there are millions of Muslims who have led much more righteous lives than he - by virtue of being Christian, he is somehow superior to all of us non-Christians.

His brand of fanatacism may have a different name, but in my eyes he is no better than Osama bin Laden. 4,000 people died on Sept 11 - but how many lives has he destroyed? Based on the drug-smuggling alone, I’d guess triple that. And that’s not even counting the innocent people who died at the hands of the terrorists toting weapons he sold.

Blech. And the worst part is, there are many more Christian religious fanatics where he came from, people who wrongly use the Bible to defend their fucked-up actions, people who give all the good, decent Christians a bad name. I don’t know what verse he’s reading that condones drug smuggling and contras, but it’s not one I’m familiar with.

Nachos-probably even more innocents were abused as the result of the contras he funded. Freedom fighters my ass-they were terrorists.

Ok, let’s take your word that the Contras were indeed terrorists.

Shouldn’t we then try to understand their feelings? Find out the root causes of their disatisfaction? Give redress to all their grievances? After all, aren’t they just poor, unfortunate, oppressed (by the U.S., no doubt) people who didn’t have any other choice?

Jeez, that whole story reads exactly like something out of the Onion. Are we sure it’s on the up-and-up?

Yep, Ollie North is no better than Ossama Bin Laden…
Except for the fact that Ollie North is a highly decorated U.S. Marine, theres not a damn thing to distinguish the two!

Custer was decorated.
So was Benedict Arnold.

Let me just say to Jack Batty, damn, you finaly found the response I was looking for but was too pissed off to think of.

No sweat. Email me a quarter and we’re even.

What a suppurating rectal fistula.

What about this quote?

Stunning? Who is stunned that fundamentalist Christians believe this? Unless the writer is being sarcastic, I suppose. Reminds me of a time back when our illustrious President was governor of my home state, he caught some heat for saying pretty much the same thing (only christians go to heaven). Again, I ask, are there really people who think fundamentalist Christians give any other religions any consideration at all? No, they are right and everyone else is wrong. Some of them even think only their particular branch of fundamentalism has the right answer. In other words, only members of the Holy Christ Almighty Church get to go to heaven. Not to say Ollie holds this view, though. He’s probably one of the ones who think all fundamentalist Christians get to go. He’s also apparently one of the ones who thinks a Lieutenant Colonel in the USMC outranks the President of the United States, but that’s beside the point.

On another note, we could certainly hope Ollie would try harder to emulate Custer…
