Have you ever seen the following movie?:
The Congress (2013, Israel/Germany/Poland/Luxembourg/Belgium/France/U.S., dir. Ari Folman)
It’s about a future in which (among other things) an actor can sell everything about their looks, voice, personality, acting ability, etc. to a movie production company. They then don’t have to do anything related to making movies anymore. In this movie, a fictionalized version of the actress Robin Wright has decided that she’s tired of making movies so she sells all these things to this movie production company. They then use her AI version in some of the movies she makes and she has made money from those films.
By saying that it’s a fictionalized version of Robin Wright, I mean that it’s like the fictionalized version of John Malkovich in this movie:
Being John Malkovich (1999, U.S., dir. Spike Jonze)
For both Wright and Malkovich, the background of their character is sort of like them, but their actions in the movie are different, even though they play themselves.
