There was a couple, at least in their 50’s, talking about the definition of oral sex on Dr. Phil yesterday. The husband insisted it included ejaculation into the wife’s mouth and she said no, she did not want that in her mouth. She kept giggling.
I am not making this up. They did not look like people who would be having oral sex, so I guess I have to revise my assumptions about people!
First of all, people tell things to other people ON TELEVISION so now everyone knows they argue about their oral sex habits. Second, why does Dr. Phil show this on TV??? Well, we know why, but doesn’t he realize this is a violation of privacy? Why do people let their privacy be violated like this?
Do people forget that millions of people are watching?
Yeah, they knew. They’re just very comfortable about talking about it. And it’s not a violation of privacy if one says it knowing that they’re telling it to thousands of people.
I’d say that the couple gets to decide what constitutes a violation of their privacy. Since they talked about it on TV (it’s not like Dr. Phil was filming them without their knowledge), I guess they’re ok with it.
I saw that one. I briefly imagined having to be the one who received a faceful of that old guy’s moldy equipment, and that was enough to destroy my libido for the rest of the day.
This statement confuses me. Your parents have oral sex. So do your grandparents. So does your busdriver, gas station attendant, first grade teacher, and the little old lady next to you at the hair salon.
Yes, they do. I know you’re shaking your head like I don’t understand, because I’ve never met them.
I think the guy said they couldn’t have sex the “normal” way because of medical reasons.
I know…now I’m going to get in trouble to saying normal. What’s normal anyway? Different for everyone.
The thing about Dr. Phil is he expects people (demands, really) to CHANGE right NOW! Here’s your problem, here’s what you need to do about it, now DO IT!!
I think that the people who watch are really learning things and getting some benefit from it, but at the same time I think it is wrong for people to give away their privacy.
This is my opinion, stated on the “In My Humble Opinion” board.
Now, the next question is, if you disagree with it, why do you watch it? Well, my daughter had it on and I was in the room! No wait! She went outside and mowed the lawn!
But it’s bad enough just thinking about my parents/grandparents having regular sex, I really don’t need to imagine them having oral as well shudder

Not all couples have oral sex, y’all. I was always under the impression that it’s TONS more common today than it was in our parents’ day. Or our grandparents’. I could be wrong. Anybody know more about trends in kinds of sex over time? Anyone?
At least you can sleep better at night if you assume what I’m saying is true.
Somewhere I read that oral sex was rather unheard of in this country until after World War II – when the boys brought it home from France. Or the idea of it, I suppose we should say.
Surely there’s a treatise on this subject from Cecil. Someone should check.
