Tank Abbot?

I want to see Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar go at it. [/qoute]

I read (don’t remember where) that a couple months ago that Brock and Angle went at it in a straight wrestling match (amateur/college wrestling) and that Angle made Lesnar look like a small child.

Well, he would, given that Angle won gold. Size and strength only go so far against that kind of skill. A match/fight I’d love to see would be Meng versus Brock or Tank. That guy was legitimately tough. Tongan Death Grip! (And yes, I realize that that was not a real submission move.)

Steve Regal is also supposed to be a RL hard guy.

I just say Regal versus Goldberg, that was a shoot to remember. Regal really roughed up Goldberg in that match and let him look like the pathetic looser he is. A pity that he in the end didnt had enough guts to straight out pin Goldperg and end that pityful winning streak angle.

(Anyone knows if there are clips of that match around?)

Tank v. Meng v. Angle v. Lesnar v. Regal v. Goldberg –

Tank is a legitimately tough motherfucker. Meng is too. It would be a nasty, nasty fight between those two guys.

Angle and Lesnar were great amateur-style wrestlers. They’re nowhere near the shape they were in back then (Angle’s interested in the 2004 Olympics, but would have to spend at least a year getting back into form). An actual wrestling match between them would probably end in Lesnar’s defeat, but it wouldn’t be an instant pin by any means. Lesnar was the best in the country, but Angle was the best in the world, and it’s a big damn world.

Regal’s a tough sumbitch, and he’s stretched more than one guy out, but he’d get killed by Tank or Meng, and Angle or Lesnar would rip him up in a legit wrestling match. Though I must admit, I’d give him pretty good odds the other way around.

As for the Regal-Goldberg “shoot” – wasn’t that way. Regal was told to make Goldberg look good, which he interpreted as carrying him through a mat-wrestling match. Goldberg wasn’t experienced enough to realize what Regal was trying to do, so he didn’t just lay there the proverbial Ric Flair Broom and just let Regal make him look like he could actually wrestle.
